The NU-Way Building method teaches how to plaster and finish walls, floors, roofs, porches and any structure: metal, wood or other with a mixture of shredded cardboard-paper, clay and asphalt emulsion ( a nontoxic mix of water, bentonite clay and tar in suspension.) Modern brand to buy are "Black Jack" fibered emulsion, or Henry's 107...search online for suppliers, most hardware stores will carry one of these brands in 1 gal-5 gallon pails.

Houses built with this method are explained, as well as methods to make "ashlar" and rubblestone looking walls. Amazing ideas with simple materials introduced in the 1920's by a very creative man..Mr. Jack Bays.

ALSO the original "Rub-R-Slate Lessons" are included on the CD.

In addition articles and data on apshalt and asphalt emulsion use in building are included. Plus my own experiments and experience with alternate mixes for my own studio and home are given.
