PHOTO: This is a sawdust-clay-lime block. It is mixed to a doughy mass, and turned into a simple form to sun dry. While still 'green' it is sliced with a drywall trowel. These cured blocks are placed between studs in my work studio, an 80+ year old redwood barn. Read about this project on the CD.
