This wonderful book by Ms. Jocasta Innes covers all the methods for limewash, plaster, putty, and mortar, with gorgeous color images throughout.
If you need to see what actual walls look like with a lime plaster..this is the book; also great to show family, friends and clients (if you are in the trades) how a natural lime finish will appear. Book show color pallets from various decades for restoration matching, which is useful for Victorian vs early 19th century exterior and interior wall colors.
